Apple and basil bruschetta

Serves 1

Preparation timeĀ less than 30 mins

Cooking timeĀ 10 to 30 mins

1 tbsp butter
1 shallot, diced
1 apple, peeled and sliced
splash balsamic vinegar
1 slice bread, toasted
handful basil leaves
1. In a large frying pan, melt the butter and fry the shallot and apple.
2. Add the balsamic vinegar and reduce for 1-2 minutes.
3. Stir through the basil and serve on the bread.
